My experience at Mills Falls was a mixed bag. The scenery and activities around the area were fantastic, really immersing us in nature and providing lots of fun options. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of our private plunge pool and the overall upkeep of the facilities, which spoiled what could have been a perfect getaway. While the staff was generally helpful, I did encounter some issues with service that left me feeling frustrated.

We stayed in the Hearthstone room, which was quite expensive. Unfortunately, we did not find it to be very well maintained, especially the private plunge pool which was dirty and uninviting.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the resort! The hotel offers a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere with cozy common areas and stunning views. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, making for a very comfortable stay. However, dining options can get crowded, and it’s advisable to plan ahead. Overall, the experience was enriching and offered fantastic value for a luxurious getaway.

Our recent stay was quite enjoyable, with accommodating staff who genuinely cared about our comfort. The location near the lake was beautiful, and the amenities offered excellent value, although some construction was a bit disruptive. Overall, it felt like a lovely getaway with room for improvement in certain areas.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and reasonably clean, but I did notice some areas that could use a little extra attention, like peeling paint. For the price we paid, I expected a bit more upkeep.

The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Brooke, who went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. However, during peak times, service at the front desk seemed a bit understaffed, which led to longer wait times.

The setting near the lake is picturesque and perfect for relaxation and recreation. It was great to have various activities within walking distance, though some outdoor areas were quieter due to ongoing construction.

We enjoyed breakfast at a nearby café recommended by the staff, which was a delightful experience. The hotel itself offered limited dining options, but I did hear mixed reviews about the on-site restaurant.

5.4/10

During my stay, I was surprised to find inconsistencies that reminded me of better times from years past. While the location was lovely and perfect for our family gatherings, the maintenance issues and lack of staffing really affected our overall experience. The rooms could have used more attention to cleanliness, and the service felt lacking at times, which was disappointing compared to previous visits. However, it was still a nice place to catch up with family and enjoy the surrounding area.

6.0/10

My stay at Mill Falls was marked by both highs and lows. While I had a beautiful view from my room and appreciated the cleanliness, the overall service left much to be desired. I'm particularly disappointed by the lack of staff presence at the Chase House and the additional unexpected resort fees, which made me feel like I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. The amenities are a mix, with some in need of maintenance, but there's potential if improvements are made.

Rooms

I was on the fifth floor and had a beautiful view of the lake. The room was immaculate and really clean, which enhanced my experience greatly.
Service
5.0
The lack of staff at the check-in location was frustrating, and it took me too long to find where I was supposed to go. I really wanted more help during my stay.
Location
7.0
The location was scenic with great views, which added charm to my stay, but it did feel a bit disorganized when navigating between buildings.
Dining
5.0
I didn't have a notable dining experience this time; it felt a bit below expectations, especially considering the resort's reputation.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but not completely well-maintained. For example, broken treadmills were disappointing given the amenities advertised.
